As part of a strategic investment in healthcare delivery for the Denver metropolitan area, a large health system sought to acquire full control of three hospitals. Getting the deal done required navigation through litigation and arbitration, along with proceedings before the Colorado attorney general.
Result
Our team represented the health system in all aspects of the deal. In the end, the $275 million transaction gave the health system full governance and operational control of the three hospitals, which have approximately 1,000 beds and $1 billion in annual revenue.
