Situation
The School Sisters of St. Joseph sought to use rooftop solar panels as an energy source for a Milwaukee retirement and healthcare facility that they own and operate. We advised the nonprofit group on all phases of the project, which involved a bond purchase, a power-purchase agreement and a rooftop lease.
Result
The 375 KW institutional solar installation, one of the largest in the city, will provide needed electricity in a way that respects the Sisters’ mission of living simply and being good stewards of the environment.
