Situation

When a rapidly growing real estate developer saw opportunities along the Armour Boulevard corridor in midtown Kansas City, Missouri, the developer reached out to Husch Blackwell’s Real Estate team for assistance in financing, transactional and related legal issues concerning the project.

Result

Husch Blackwell represented the developer in the revitalization of several buildings, including a $58 million, 600-unit multifamily project that involved $38 million in state revenue bonds, $5 million in tax increment financing (TIF), a tax abatement program and a historic tax credit component.
