The Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS) has recognized Husch Blackwell’s Leslie Gutierrez as being among a select group of e-discovery professionals to pass its Certified E-Discovery Specialists (CEDS) certification examination. The CEDS credential is earned by individuals who pass a four-hour examination measuring competence and knowledge in e-discovery.
Gutierrez is a Milwaukee-based associate in Husch Blackwell’s Real Estate, Development & Construction industry group. As a member of the firm’s Real Estate, Development & Construction team, Leslie represents construction clients, including owners, architects, general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, in all phases of a construction project and all types of litigation matters, including design defect claims, delay and inefficiency claims, contract disputes and mechanics’ liens and bond claims. She also counsels small and large contractors at every stage of a project, including preventing disputes from becoming litigation and negotiating successful close outs of projects. Gutierrez also works with the firm’s eDiscovery Solutions team and has extensive experience directing, managing and overseeing the e-discovery process from case inception to case closure.
