Husch Blackwell IoT Group to Present at InfoAg

Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that partner Matt Grant and associate Bob Bowman will present at the 2017 InfoAg Conference, which kicks off tomorrow in St. Louis. Grant and Bowman will address blockchain technology’s effect on the risks faced by precision agriculture product and service providers. Grant and Bowman are members of the firm’s Internet of Things (IoT) practice team; the group was launched in April 2017 in order to better coordinate the firm’s existing practices that are integral to the solving the challenges faced by companies in the emerging IoT field.

Based in St. Louis, Grant is a member of Husch Blackwell’s Food and Agribusiness industry group and advises agribusiness clients on a range of intellectual property litigation matters, including crop seed bag labeling, product labeling, patents, trademarks and plant variety protection.

Bowman is based in the firm’s Denver office and belongs to firm’s Technology, Manufacturing and Transportation industry group. He assists clients in obtaining and securing intellectual property rights through patent prosecution, trademark prosecution and applying for copyright registrations and also counsels clients in connection with technology transfers, licensing and data sharing and management agreements.
