EMERGING LEGAL ISSUES IN URBAN EDUCATION WEBINAR SERIES
In light of shifting guidance, heightened awareness and a change in administration, school districts must train their staff and administrators to effectively investigate and resolve alleged incidents of sex and gender discrimination, sexual harassment, gender equity and interpersonal violence.
This webinar will go beyond the basics and dig into the practical skills needed to conduct effective investigations, with a focus on the challenges and issues involved in investigating, resolving and remediating sexual misconduct on (and off) school grounds. This session also will address practical tips on handling Office for Civil Rights (OCR) investigations and defending Title IX litigation. The program will be led by education attorneys with broad experience in sexual misconduct investigations and litigation under Title IX.
