Amanda has been enthusiastic about healthcare for most of her life and began honing her experience in healthcare law in law school when she served as a law clerk at the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. Prior to joining Husch Blackwell, she served as a senior attorney at a healthcare consulting firm, guiding clients through changing regulations. The experience taught her to think in terms of best strategies for not only regulatory compliance, but also revenue optimization and patient satisfaction.
When Amanda counsels a client on regulatory requirements, she’s considering not only the legal issues at hand, but also the effects of the regulations on business operations and the client’s broader business model. Clients value her focus on their overall strategy, as well as her efforts to understand their organizations: Amanda is known for her attention to client relationships and for her excellent communication.
