After a nationwide search for the site of its new corporate headquarters, Express Scripts Inc. selected the campus of the University of Missouri-St. Louis to leverage the benefits of collaborative research and technology transfer consistent with its innovative approach to healthcare. We then worked with the company to overcome challenging site conditions.
Result
Express Scripts secured state and local economic incentives and the passage of new legislation to foster job growth and retention. The region retained a homegrown Fortune 100 company that has an annual economic impact in excess of $100 billion.
