New Career Pathways

Since early 2019, our most recent alumni have taken myriad new career pathways.

Some went in-house:

	Former associate Nick Ashijan from our Phoenix office is now with Fidelity Investments.
	Former associate Erica Doerhoff from our St. Louis office is now with Express Scripts (HB client).
	Former partner Chuck Greene from our Springfield office is now with Bass Pro (HB client).
	Former of counsel Laura Greene from our Springfield office is now with Nicholson Greene Consulting Group.
	Former senior counsel Stephanie Hall from our Chattanooga office is now Compliance Officer for Russ Blakely & Associates.
	Former partner Paul Karch from our Madison office is joining Independent Pharmacy Cooperative (HB client).
	Former associate Katelan Little from our Chicago office is now with Uber (HB client).
	Former associate Sandra Oh from our St. Louis office is now with Apertus Pharmaceuticals (HB client).
	Former partner Ellen Pantaenius from our Kansas City office is now with Onspring Technology (HB client).
	Former partner David Pursell from our Kansas City office is now with Saint Luke’s Health System (HB client).
	Former partner Robert Rabecs from our Phoenix office is now with Magellan Health.
	Former of counsel Craig Rosenthal from our St. Louis office is now General Counsel of BellRing Brands Inc. (HB client).
	Former partner Ashley Rothe from our St. Louis office is now with Express Scripts (HB client).
	Former associate Brian Stair from our St. Louis office is now with Wells Fargo (HB client).
	Former partner Jeffrey Vercauteren from our Madison office is now Associate General Counsel for Permitting and Local Affairs with Invenergy (HB client).

Some have gone into academia:

Former associate Mary Hannah from our St. Louis office now has a fellowship with the Indiana State Board of Education.

Some left for clerkships:

Former associate Genni Zimmer from our Kansas City office is a law clerk to Judge Daniel Crabtree in the Kansas Federal District.

Some now work in public service:

	Former partner Mark Grider from our Washington, D.C. office is now Senior Associate Counsel and Special Assistant to the President of the United States, Office of the White House Counsel.
	Former associate Alyssa Mayer from our Kansas City office is now with the Special Litigation Division of the Missouri Attorney General’s Office.
	Former associate Jeff Van der Veer from our Denver office is now in the District Attorney office in Denver, CO; Appellate Division.
	Former associate Luke Weissler from our St. Louis office is now an Assistant US Attorney in the Southern District of Illinois.
	Former of counsel Donna Wilson Peters from our Kansas City office is now Division Chief, Real Estate for the City of Atlanta, Georgia.

Some have retired:

	Former partner Susan Minahan from our Milwaukee office retired in January 2019.
	Former partner Charles Bohl from our Milwaukee office retired in January 2019.
	Former senior counsel Henry Chajet from our Washington D.C. office retired in March 2019.
	Former partner Sam Digirolamo from our St. Louis office retired in January 2019.
	Former partner John Emanuel from our Milwaukee office retired in July 2019.
