Represented manufacturing, telecommunications, coal and chemical companies in drafting and negotiating software license agreements, maintenance agreements and consulting/professional services agreements;
Advised an eastern Texas multispecialty clinic on technology transfer matters in the sale of its operations to a national healthcare system;
Represented clients on intellectual property and technology matters in mergers and acquisitions;
Represented an engineer/manufacturer of valves and metering and dispensing technology with all of its intellectual property matters, including utility and design patent prosecution, trademark guidance and intellectual property infringement matters;
Represented a manufacturer of chlorine and sodium hydroxide with various intellectual property matters, including technology licensing and trademark and copyright guidance. In 2010, a Husch Blackwell team helped this client negotiate a licensing transaction in which it acquired a key piece of new bleach-production technology.
