Construction Executive magazine has listed Husch Blackwell third in the sixth annual Top 50 Construction Law Firms™ rankings, which appear in the magazine’s June 2024 issue.

Husch Blackwell has appeared on the list every year since 2019 and has been listed in the Top 10 for the past three years.

"We are grateful to be honored by Construction Executive as a top construction law firm,” said partner Josh Levy, co-leader of Husch Blackwell’s Construction Academy. “This accolade is a testament not only to the unwavering trust our clients place in us but also to the profound experience and dedication of our team. At the heart of our practice is a commitment to understanding the intricacies of the construction industry, which enables us to provide nuanced, strategic solutions tailor-fitted to each client's unique needs. Our attorneys prioritize delivering high-quality results because we know that, at the end of the day, the success and satisfaction of our clients are the true measures of our excellence.”

“The construction and government contracts practices have experienced tremendous growth over the past five years, demonstrating the benefits to both clients and lawyers from our industry alignment,” said partner Jon Giokas, leader of the firm’s Real Estate, Development & Construction industry group. “We continue to recruit exceptional talent to further serve our clients’ objectives.”

For more than 20 years, Construction Executive has been the leading trade magazine covering the business of construction. In its June 2024 issue, CE published a comprehensive ranking of The Top 50 Construction Law Firms™ featuring breakouts and analysis accompanied by an article in which leading attorneys discuss their construction clients' most pressing business concerns.

To determine the ranking, CE asked hundreds of U.S. law firms with construction practices to complete a survey. Data collected included: 1) 2023 revenues from the firm’s construction practice; 2) number of attorneys in the firm’s construction practice; 3) percentage of firm’s total revenues derived from its construction practice; 4) number of states in which the firm is licensed to practice; 5) year in which the construction practice was established; and 6) the number of Architecture, Engineering and Construction clients served during fiscal year 2023. The ranking was determined by an algorithm that weighted these factors in descending order of importance.
