Finance Attorneys Join Husch Blackwell's Chicago Office

Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that Alexander Terras and Aaron B. Chapin have joined the firm’s Chicago office. Both are members of the firm’s Financial Services & Capital Markets group and its Insolvency & Commercial Bankruptcy practice.

Terras focuses his practice on equipment leasing , commercial banking and corporate finance. He represents commercial finance companies and  banks in portfolio administration matters, including workouts, insolvency, litigation, loan documentation, due diligence, risk management and accounting standards compliance. A regular speaker on a variety of finance issues, Terras obtained his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law.

Chapin focuses on representing secured and unsecured creditors in bankruptcy cases, workouts and proceedings in state and federal courts. He is also experienced in representing creditors’ committees, debtors and other parties in various bankruptcy, restructuring, out-of-court liquidations and finance matters. He also represents financial institutions and other businesses in a broad range of civil litigation matters. Chapin obtained his J.D. cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School.

Terras and Chapin join Husch Blackwell from the Chicago office of Reed Smith.
