Four Husch Blackwell Attorneys Selected to 2025 Law360 Editorial Advisory Boards

National law firm Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that partners Craig Kovarik, Julie Maurer, and Nithya Nagarajan, and senior counsel TaRonda Randall will serve on the Benefits, Transportation, International Trade, and Sports & Betting Editorial Advisory Boards, respectively, in 2025 for Law360.

Each editorial board comprises approximately 8 to 12 subject-matter experts who provide feedback on Law360’s coverage and insight on how best to cover each respective practice area. This year marks the third consecutive year for Nagarajan on the International Trade board and the second consecutive year for Maurer, while Kovarik and Randall will be joining their respective boards for the first time.

Kovarik is based in Kansas City and leads Husch Blackwell’s Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation practice. He assists clients navigate complex ERISA, tax and related laws pertaining to employer-sponsored benefit plans and compensatory arrangements.

Based in Phoenix, Maurer is a member of the firm’s Transportation industry team where she leads a supply chain and logistics team that provides clients a complete suite of services, including serving as national counsel on corporate and regulatory matters and defending clients in jurisdictions throughout the country in the areas of transportation, specifically cargo, and complex commercial litigation.

Washington, DC-based Nagarajan focuses her practice on trade-remedy strategy and antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings. Her previous roles at the Department of Commerce, the Department of Justice and the U.S. Court of International Trade give Nagarajan an insider’s perspective as she counsels clients on administrative and regulatory acts before Commerce, the International Trade Commission and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). She has advised foreign manufacturers in India, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Korea and Vietnam in handling trade and supply chain issues associated with exports to the United States.

Based in Kansas City and a member of the firm’s Education industry team, Randall provides college and university clients with a comprehensive understanding of the challenges associated with collegiate athletics. She brings invaluable experience to her private practice, having served in the athletic departments of major public universities and as a postgraduate intern with the National Collegiate Athletic Association National Office. Randall assists clients by analyzing NCAA legislation, drafting, and submitting waivers and violations of NCAA bylaws, conducting athletics compliance assessments and independent investigations related to student-athlete welfare issues, as well as advising institutions on issues related to policies and procedures, diversity, equity and inclusion and Title IX equity in athletics.
