News Releases

Based in Omaha, Hasan has played a key role in several of Husch Blackwell’s most recent litigation victories.

The Greater Omaha Chamber has selected Husch Blackwell associate Kamron Hasan to join its 42nd class of Leadership Omaha, a leadership development program for young professionals focusing on community trusteeship and community awareness. Hasan joins 48 other Omaha professionals in rounding out the class, which will engage in an intensive 10-month program that will study the business and civic challenges and opportunities present in the greater Omaha region.

Based in Omaha, Hasan has played a key role in several of Husch Blackwell’s most recent litigation victories, including the July 2019 triumph in Nebraska state court on behalf of the estate of Dr. Wayne Ryan in a valuation dispute that placed a value of nearly $900 million on Streck Laboratories, the company that Dr. Ryan founded.

Hasan has appeared in state and federal court at all procedural stages in a variety of matters involving commercial and employment litigation, including cases involving claims of breach of contract, trade secrets, business torts, federal and state discrimination and retaliation claims, and responses to Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and Nebraska Equal Opportunity Commission (NEOC) complaints, among others. Hasan has been recognized as a Rising Star in Great Plains Super Lawyers since 2017. Prior to entering private practice, he served as a legal intern for The Hon. Joseph F. Bataillon, U.S. District Court, District of Nebraska.

Hasan is also deeply involved in the Omaha community, supporting a number of important civic organizations. He currently serves on the Advisory Committee of Keep Omaha Beautiful, an organization that collaborates with the community and the city to identify goals, projects and areas of growth for sustainability. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Nebraska Appleseed, a nonprofit organization that fights for legal justice and opportunity for all Nebraskans.
