News Releases

Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that Emily Langdon has joined its Omaha office as a partner in the firm’s Financial Services and Capital Markets industry group and a member of its Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation practice.

Langdon’s benefits and compensation practice is broad. She counsels clients on the complex challenges relating to health and welfare benefits, executive compensation, pension and retirement plans, and wellness plans and routinely uses her focused background and experience to assist with ERISA-related issues, dispute resolution, corporate transactions and M&A, business formation and early-stage funding, and healthcare law and regulation.

“I am very pleased to start the next chapter of my career at Husch Blackwell,” said Langdon. “The firm’s platform is a perfect fit for me—based here in the Midwest, but national in scope, with outstanding practitioners across the breadth of its service offering. My clients will be excited about the resources available to them, as well as the firm’s strong emphasis on client service.”

Langdon frequently serves middle-market clients as an outside counsel capable of advising on a broad array of challenges touching upon benefit plan design and compliance. She also advises large, national corporations, collaborating with a client’s in-house legal team and other professionals to solve problems and develop corporate strategy.

Langdon is a graduate of Creighton University School of Law and is a member of Nebraska Bar Association and the Omaha Bar Association.
