The American Lawyer has recognized Husch Blackwell among the top 100 law firms in the United States in its 2024 Am Law 100 rankings, released April 16. The annual ranking is based on gross revenue and includes a variety of other measures of law firm size and profitability. Husch Blackwell ranks 82nd.
Reporting double-digit revenue growth for the fourth consecutive year in 2023, above the industry average of 6.8%, Husch Blackwell was one of only 21 firms to post 10% year-over-year growth. Topping $612 million, a gain of 10.2%, the firm achieved another record-setting year in terms of growth and profitability. Since 2016, Husch Blackwell has doubled in size and grown to more than 1,000 attorneys.
In 2023, Husch Blackwell added 111 lateral attorneys with nearly 70% arriving in the second half of the year. The firm has begun 2024 in a similar manner, adding 49 attorneys in the first quarter.
