Husch Blackwell’s renewable energy team assisted Arevon Energy in the closing of financing for the 251 MW Gibson Solar Project, located in Southwestern Indiana.

Husch Blackwell served as project development and local counsel to Arevon through the development and debt financing of the Gibson Solar Project.

The Gibson Solar Project financial close included a $351 million construction loan from CoBank, Societe Generale, and PNC Bank, along with a letter of credit facility provided by CoBank.

The project will create more than 250 construction jobs and will disburse more than $83 million in local government payments throughout the life of the project. Once operational, it will generate enough clean electricity to annually power the equivalent of more than 30,000 homes.

The Husch Blackwell team, led by partners Brian Pullin and Anna Kimbrell, included attorneys Riley Nickel, Michael Blackwell, Leah Kaiser, Robert Romashko, Mara Pollets, and paralegal Brandy Hutchison.
