Husch Blackwell, sponsor of Get Started Omaha (GSO), a launchpad for entrepreneurs to showcase their seed-stage startups and create meaningful connections with potential partners and investors, invites startups from around the country to participate in the GSO competition by the final application deadline of Friday, March 13.

GSO-eligible startups are those that have raised less than $200,000 in funding and generated less than $200,000 in revenue. Selected startups will be assigned Industry Tracks including Healthcare, Education and Government Solutions; Manufacturing, Transportation and Logistics; Food and Agriculture; Energy and Natural Resources; Real Estate and Retail; and Technology, Data and Financial Services.

The chosen startups will be invited to pitch a panel of judges and the Get Started Omaha audience of business executives, entrepreneurs and investors. A winner from each industry track will receive various equity-free cash and in-kind prizes. An overall winner will be selected for a $25,000 equity-free cash grand prize.

The Get Started Omaha event will be held at The Living Room in Omaha on April 23, 2020. Guests are invited to register and attend the event for an afternoon networking, connecting with startups in the Startup Showcase, and watching the Startup Pitch Competition.

Past winners of Get Started Omaha include Retail Aware, Snowshow Candy Co., Borrow for Your Bump, Nightlife Transit, and Travefy. For more information, to obtain an application, or to attend as a guest, visit www.getstartedomaha.com.
