News Releases

National law firm Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that Financial Times has shortlisted the firm in three categories for its annual Innovative Lawyers Awards North America.

The Innovative Lawyers Awards North America recognizes law firms and in-house legal teams that are leaders in digital innovation, strategic advice, talent management and driving positive change in the profession.

Husch Blackwell is a finalist for the following awards:

  • Innovation in Generative AI Strategy: Artificial Intelligence
  • Innovation in New Services to Manage Risk: Innovāt Alliance National Coordinating Counsel
  • Innovation in People & Skills: HB In-House

“We are incredibly honored to be shortlisted by Financial Times,” said Jamie Lawless, Husch Blackwell’s chief executive. “This recognition is a testament to Husch Blackwell's unwavering commitment to our clients, colleagues, and communities. Our dedication to pushing boundaries and delivering future-focused solutions translates to exceptional value and service for our clients. We remain focused not only on meeting the evolving needs of our clients but also empowering our teams to uplift the people we serve.”

Submissions are fully researched and assessed on their own merits against other submissions in each category by RSGI, which uses a process of interviews with clients, submitting lawyers and industry leaders. The submissions are then scored against a bespoke ranking methodology, devised for Financial Times, to assess innovation in law firms.

Last year, Husch Blackwell was among the top 25 most innovative law firms.

This year’s honorees will be recognized at the Financial Times’ awards gala on Dec. 9, in New York City. The full shortlist can be found here.
