The training will cover best practices for starting a business, finding financing sources for startups, protecting intellectual property and identifying potential legal issues as businesses grow.

Husch Blackwell is partnering with MultiPass Ventures to co-sponsor the St. Louis MultiPass Startup Program at Webster University. Husch Blackwell associates Kyle Barringer and Ashley Edwards will mentor early-stage entrepreneurs looking to turn their ideas into businesses.

As part of the six-week boot camp, Barringer and Edwards will host a Legal Issues for Startups 101 training on Sept. 17, 2019. The training will cover best practices for starting a business, finding financing sources for startups, protecting intellectual property and identifying potential legal issues as businesses grow.

The MultiPass Startup Program provides mentorship and education to entrepreneurs in the creation phase. Participants will learn how to capture market share, create a brand story, pitch to potential investors and create a sales funnel.
