Husch Blackwell Welcomes King and Morgan to Austin Office

Husch Blackwell welcomed two attorneys—Micah King and Jessica Morgan—to its Austin office in January.

King joins the firm’s Real Estate, Development & Construction group as a staff attorney. His practice is focused on local government, real estate and construction needs, with an emphasis on land use and real estate development, as well as governmental affairs. He previously served as assistant city attorney for the City of Austin and clerked for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Western District of Texas, Austin Division. King earned his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law (2014) and his B.A. cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis (2007).

Morgan is an associate in the firm’s Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions and Securities & Corporate Governance practice groups. She comes to the firm from the Public Utility Commission of Texas. A member of the Junior League of Austin, Morgan earned her J.D. cum laude from Lewis & Clark Law School (2011) and her B.A. cum laude from Trinity University (2006).
