Husch Blackwell's Tom Shorter Named AHLA President-Elect Designate

Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that Tom Shorter has been named President-Elect Designate of the American Health Law Association.

Shorter, based in the firm’s Madison office, is a partner in the firm’s Healthcare industry group. His practice is focused on assisting major healthcare organizations with matters that include restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, affiliations and joint ventures. He also represents independent practitioners and their investors on establishing, maintaining and growing their practices, and counsels healthcare clients of all sizes on regulatory matters and labor and employment issues. He will assume the role of AHLA President on July 1, 2022.

Shorter joined Husch Blackwell in January as part of a major expansion of the firm’s healthcare practice in Wisconsin.
