News Releases

Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that Cormac T. Connor has joined the firm’s White Collar, Internal Investigations & Compliance practice group as a partner in its Washington, DC office.

A former Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, Connor defends individuals and corporations embroiled in criminal and civil government-led investigations, including False Claims Act allegations, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act claims, procurement fraud, Small Business Administration fraud and false statements. Connor also conducts internal investigations on behalf of corporate clients and advises boards of directors regarding internal investigation findings, recommended corrective actions, and interactions with U.S. law enforcement authorities.

“We are excited that Cormac chose to join us at Husch Blackwell,” said Jeff Jensen, the head of the firm’s White Collar, Internal Investigations & Compliance practice group. “We have assembled an impressive team at the firm who have a deep understanding of the DOJ and how to manage criminal and civil investigations. Cormac’s experience in the D.C. District broadens our team, and we believe our clients will find his perspective to be valuable.”

“I’m very pleased to be joining such a distinguished and talented group of lawyers in Husch Blackwell’s White Collar group,” said Connor. “My clients are excited about having the full resources of the firm available to them, including the lawyers who have deep industry-specific expertise across so many areas of business. I look forward to growing the firm’s presence in Washington and beyond.”

Connor’s arrival comes on the heels of an active 2021 for Husch Blackwell’s White Collar, Internal Investigations & Compliance practice group. The firm attracted three former U.S. Attorneys in the past year, as well as notable lawyers spanning multiple state and federal agencies and departments. The group now features over 40 professionals spanning 14 of the firm’s 25 offices and includes several notable former local, state, and federal government officials.
