Jasmine Martel Selected to Houston District Export Council

National law firm Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that attorney Jasmine Martel has been appointed to the Houston District Export Council (HDEC).

Based in Houston, Martel is a member of the firm’s International Trade & Supply Chain practice team. Her work experience has centered on tariff classification, country of origin determination, valuation, CTPAT (Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism), contract negotiation and policy and procedure implementation. Martel’s practice includes advising businesses on ways to ensure that their international supply chains are protected and secured from origin to destination.

The HDEC supports current and future exporters in 33 counties in Southeast Texas. Established in 1977, its members, appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce, act as a board of directors, guiding and assisting the local exporting community.
