Josi Wergin Selected as Fellow of American Society for Health Care Risk Management

National law firm Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that attorney Josi Wergin has been selected as a Fellow of the American Society for Health Care Risk Management (ASHRM).

Based in Madison, Wisconsin, Wergin helps healthcare organizations navigate intricate regulations and statutory schemes, allowing them to concentrate on their primary mission of providing care. Wergin joined Husch Blackwell after a 17-year career in healthcare risk management, where she examined and analyzed a broad spectrum of legal, clinical, and operational implications in healthcare topics for various risk management-focused publications. She is a member of the firm’s Healthcare Regulatory & Compliance Counseling practice team.

Fellows must successfully meet criteria in the areas of academic/professional designations, continuing education, employment experience, and contributions to the field of healthcare risk management through leadership, lecturing, and publishing. With more than 5,500 members worldwide, ASHRM is a professional membership group of the American Hospital Association, providing educational tools and networking opportunities to enable healthcare risk management professionals to make vital contributions to their organizations.
