National Diversity Council to Recognize Chalon Clark and Katharine David as "Top 50 Women Lawyers"

The National Diversity Counsel seeks to recognize women in the legal field who have overcome barriers and made it more possible for others to follow in their footsteps.

The National Diversity Counsel will recognize Chalon Clark and Katharine David as 2019 “Top 50 Women Lawyers” in a selection process based on experience, leadership and commitment to diversity.

Clark is a member of the Minority Participation Committee of the Dallas Bar Association, Task Force on Diversity Committee of the Federal Bar Association, and serves as a Mentor for the Dallas Women Lawyers Association. She also serves on Husch Blackwell’s Diversity Council.

David holds the Commission of the Yellow Rose of Texas, which recognizes Texas women who have demonstrated exceptional volunteer and community service. She is a fellow of the Houston Bar Foundation and a member of the Houston Bar Association, the Houston Young Lawyers Association and State Bar of Texas.

The National Diversity Counsel seeks to recognize women in the legal field who have overcome barriers and made it more possible for others to follow in their footsteps. Clark and David will be recognized Oct. 29 at the Marriott Marquis in Houston as part of the National Diversity Counsel’s Legal Diversity Week.
