Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that alumnus Maury Poscover has been elected President of the American Bar Association (ABA) Retirement Fund Program Board.
The program is an ABA-member benefit available exclusively to the legal community that has delivered high-quality, low-cost retirement plans to its members for more than 55 years. “The program encompasses over 4,000 law firm plans, approximately 37,000 individual participants, and manages over $6.6 billion in retirement funds,” Poscover said. “Our brand mantra is ‘Designed by Lawyers, Powered by Professionals.’”
Poscover’s 50-year career at Husch Blackwell began in 1969 when he joined predecessor firm Husch, Eppenberger, Donohue, Elson & Cornfeld in St. Louis as its 17th lawyer. He retired from the firm in 2019. In addition to serving as President of the ABA Retirement Fund Board, he chaired the ABA Business Law Section and served on the ABA Board of Governors and the ABA Standing Committee on Federal Judiciary. He also served as President of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and as President of the Jewish Community Relations Council in St. Louis.
