Michael Taibleson heads up the State Bar of Wisconsin’s 14th annual Employee Benefits Update.

Husch Blackwell is proud to announce that partner Michael Taibleson will serve as the program chairman and moderator for the State Bar of Wisconsin’s 14th annual Employee Benefits Update, a full-day program providing continuing legal education and practical know-how for lawyers across multiple disciplines.

A Milwaukee-based partner in Husch Blackwell’s Healthcare, Life Sciences & Education industry group, Taibleson regularly advises employee benefit plan sponsors and fiduciaries on comprehensive implementation, administration, remediation and litigation needs with respect to single-employer and multiple-employer plans for active employees and retirees.

Husch Blackwell partner David Eckhardt will also participate in the program, presenting on recent updates on retirement plan investments, including Department of Labor guidance on social investing and proxy voting and an overview of prohibited transactions and investments in Individual Retirement Accounts.

The program is scheduled for Wednesday, September 5, 2018, and will take place at the State Bar Center, 5302 Eastpark Blvd., Madison WI, and via the internet.
