The AHLA Women’s Leadership Council provides educational content and develops and hosts networking events for members.

Husch Blackwell’s Cori Casey Turner has been selected to serve as Chair of the Women’s Leadership Council of the American Health Lawyers Association for a one-year appointment beginning today.

Turner, a partner in the firm’s Kansas City office, is a member of the firm’s Healthcare team. She advises healthcare clients on complex regulatory compliance and reimbursement-repayment matters, as well as contractual issues, strategic affiliations and leadership transitions.

The American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA) is the nation's largest, nonpartisan, 501(c)(3) educational organization devoted to legal issues in the health care field with more than 13,500 members. The purpose of AHLA’s Women’s Leadership Council is to provide educational content and develop and host networking events for members. The Council oversees the online Women’s Network; provides opportunities for AHLA members interested in the professional development and advancement of women to connect with their peers and AHLA leaders through networking, mentoring, and social media.
