Hibler, a litigator, has significant experience representing companies and individuals in complex litigation in state and federal courts throughout the country.

Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that Tyler C. Hibler has joined the firm as senior counsel in its Kansas City office.

Hibler, a litigator, joins the firm’s Healthcare, Life Sciences and Education industry team and its Labor & Employment practice group. He has significant experience representing companies and individuals in complex litigation in state and federal courts throughout the country. He devotes a significant portion of his practice to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblower, wage and hour, restrictive covenants, breach of contract and employment tort claims cases.

Hibler’s work includes representation of a Kansas City area construction company in a series of multi-million dollar lawsuits connected with a large fire and explosion that occurred on Kansas City’s Country Club Plaza. The consolidated litigation was comprised of more than 20 separate lawsuits involving claims of wrongful death, catastrophic injury, extensive property damage, and business interruption losses.

Hibler received his J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law and his B.A. magna cum laude from Baker University. He is a graduate of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association’s Leadership Academy.
