Join Husch Blackwell’s Education attorneys for a Civil Rights Investigator Training designed specifically for college, university, and school professionals tasked with investigating complaints of discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, and other protected statuses in institution programs or activities.

We will cover a range of critical topics, including an overview of applicable laws, recent enforcement actions, and pertinent case law. Additionally, we will share best practices for grievance procedures, interviewing techniques, report writing, and the resolution of complaints.

This training is intended as a primary training for investigators of these issues. Though skills and process topics may overlap with those applicable to Title IX investigators—scenarios, legal guidance, and updates will center on other civil rights issues.
