Marci Kawski will moderate, "How the FTC Continues to Impact the Consumer Credit Industry," at the American Bar Association's Business Law Fall Meeting on Thursday, September 12, 2024.
The panel will discuss the powers of the Federal Trade Commission as they relate to sales finance transactions and the impact on downstream lenders. They will discuss the agency’s UDAP authority and its use thereof, including in promulgating and interpreting the FTC Holder Rule and in promulgating the CARS Rule.
