Brenda Barrett will moderate, "Stay Up to Date – How New Recent Legislative Initiatives and Market Trends Are Affecting Transactions in the Renewable Energy Sector," at the Houston Energy Conference presented by the American Bar Association on Wednesday, February 28, 2023.
The panel will explore how recent legislative initiatives as well as technological and market developments in the renewable energy industry are affecting deal terms in the development and financing of renewable energy projects. Members of the panel will be industry experts and practitioners from countries in the Americas with significant activities in the renewable energy market. Panel members will concentrate on the challenges and trends in the wind and solar sector (both onshore and offshore) as well as the growing importance of green hydrogen. Panelists will compare and contrast differing political and economic environments of certain geographical areas in which projects are being developed and how those factors can also impact deal terms and transaction costs.
