The COVID-19 pandemic caused a massive migration of Americans to online platforms demanding broadband services for work, learning, engaging in e-commerce, seeking medical care and simply engaging in daily social interactions. Broadband infrastructure has emerged as a need as basic as electricity.
Yet, too many Americans live in geographical areas that lack broadband infrastructure. Our panelists will discuss the importance of combining public investment as well as the resources and expertise of private partners to bring essential infrastructure to underserved areas, and how P3 can be used to deliver this essential infrastructure.
