Brent Meyer will provide the Annual Ethics Presentation at the Engineers Club of Omaha November Club Meeting on Tuesday, November 16, 2021.
Brent will cover various ethical requirements for professional engineers in the State of Nebraska, using the Nebraska Code of Practice as a framework. During this session, Brent will discuss case studies, lawsuits and hypotheticals to highlight how ethical standards arise in engineering practice. While the session will touch on lawsuits involving engineers, the focus of the presentation is on ethical standards and how those may be different or similar to the applicable legal standard.
