David Stauss will present "Colorado Privacy Act," at the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), Denver Chapter on Wednesday, April 27, 2022.
The Colorado Privacy Act will go into effect on July 1, 2023, impacting many Colorado businesses. During this presentation, we will:
- Identify the scope of the CPA and the businesses it will affect
- Analyze CPA exemptions and exceptions, such as the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act carve-out
- Discuss relevant definitions such as “sale” and “consent”
- Review the rights provided to Colorado residents through the CPA
- Provide an update on CPA rulemaking process"
