ESOPs are complex, and mistakes inevitably happen, but the impact of those mistakes can be reduced or eliminated through the wise, well-informed use of correction programs. The session reviews the types of errors that occur with ESOPs and outlines the various correction programs offered by the IRS and DOL. The discussion will include recent updates to the IRS correction programs.
