Return-to-Work Client Survey Provides Insights Across Industries

Many clients have asked Husch Blackwell for ideas, counsel and advice regarding creating and implementing COVID-19-related Return-to-Work (RTW) plans. Drawing from the experience at our own firm—along with our early-stage work advising clients—it is clear that returning to our respective workplaces will be complex and potentially more difficult than instituting Work-From-Home protocols.

One challenge is that information is limited in how various enterprises are approaching RTW issues. That’s not surprising; this is an unprecedented public health crisis, and no pre-existing playbook exists for the task ahead.

That is why we developed a survey to assist with RTW planning. Husch Blackwell’s RTW Survey, for which we collected responses in the two-week period ending May 8, 2020, reveals the scope of the challenge facing employers as they reopen worksites to employees, clients and customers.

Husch Blackwell’s Return-to-Work Resource Center provides best practices, answers to common questions and potential issues to consider.
