and Adjudicating Sexual Misconduct

Strengthen your institution’s Title IX sexual misconduct systems, as well as your investigation and adjudication skills, through this two-day advanced workshop. Using interactive, hands-on learning experiences, we’ll take a deep dive into up-to-date best practices and legal issues.

While geared to a multi-state audience, training includes focus on key topics of concern to all Title IX offices and required by the Illinois Prevention of Sexual Violence in Higher Education Act such as:  trauma-informed response, response coordination, the role drugs and alcohol in consent, and cultural sensitivity.

Who Should Attend
College and university sexual misconduct investigators, Title IX coordinators and other Title IX team members.

Continuing Education Credit
This program is pending approval for Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska, Ohio and Wisconsin continuing legal education credit as well as HR Certification Institute and Society for Human Resource Management recertification credit. Continuing legal education credit in other states can be obtained; please contact Cathy Roenspies by October 11 to inquire.
