What is a Supplier Diversity Program?
Supplier diversity programs focus on enabling companies to use a broader range of historically underutilized suppliers, including small businesses and those that are minority-owned, women-owned, LGBTQ+-owned, disabled-owned, veteran-owned, and service-disabled-veteran-owned.
Supplier diversity at Husch Blackwell
Our core focus is on using suppliers that submit certification under current requirements for Minority/Women-owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) status in their home state. Alternatively, businesses not yet certified may submit our affidavit stating that they are at least 51% operated, controlled, and owned by minority, women, disabled, veteran, LGBTQ+, or service-disabled veteran persons, and/or other historically underutilized businesses, including small business vendors.
