AJ has a passion for winnowing through complexity and simplifying the issues, all while placing clients’ needs and business goals at the center of his practice.

AJ represents insurers and consumer financial services providers, defending these companies in class actions, individual lawsuits and arbitration. AJ also represents clients in a wide range of commercial and business disputes, as well as in probate and fiduciary litigation. His recent experience includes representing insurers in class actions relating to COVID-19 business closures and a software development breach of contract arbitration under New York law.

A former judicial law clerk with a background as a technical writer, AJ’s insight into decision makers’ thought processes and his attention to detail allow him to sift through challenging issues and present the client’s case clearly and persuasively. Clients also appreciate AJ’s business focus. AJ stays current on industry developments and aims to learn as much as possible about client organizations to ensure that his legal advice meets not only a client’s litigation needs, but their business needs as well.

Outside the Office

AJ loves traveling. His favorite destinations have included Bangkok and Chiang Mai, Thailand; Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; Budapest, Hungary; and Krakow, Poland. When he is not traveling, he enjoys bicycling the beautiful Milwaukee lakefront.
