Overview

Brian has varied and extensive experience assisting clients with labor and employment and higher education matters.

For more than 15 years, Brian has counseled and defended private and public employers when they face allegations of harassment, discrimination and retaliation. He has represented clients in both state and federal court, and in investigations before state and federal agencies. He also advises on leave issues under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Clients across a wide range of industries rely on Brian’s representation and counsel, including those in:

  • Financial services

Brian understands that employment dispute mitigation is critical and advises clients on proactive procedures that minimize risk. Further, he offers counsel on day-to-day operational issues such as employment agreements and restrictive covenant issues. He also has experience in pursuing former employees for violations of noncompetition agreements and misappropriation of trade secrets.

Brian enjoys spending time with family.

After work, you’ll find him attending his kids’ activities and enjoying time with friends. Brian also enjoys family vacations and travel, generally. He looks forward to future bucket list trips to Machu Picchu and the Egyptian pyramids.
