Brooke assists clients with complex healthcare regulations. She practices from Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
Brooke’s first interest has always been healthcare: she loves the complexity of the field and all its layers, and she was drawn to the industry by the personal impact it has on individuals. As an undergraduate, she majored in Health Management, gaining a solid foundation in healthcare operations. Realizing how interconnected law and healthcare were, Brooke then went on to law school. While her goal was to learn as much about health law as possible, Brooke also had a side focus on corporate and business law that she knew would help her understand the business needs of healthcare organizations.
At Husch Blackwell, Brooke helps healthcare clients stay in line with the ever-changing regulations governing their field. During law school, she spent a season as a summer associate at the firm, assisting with contract preparation and preparing research on healthcare litigation matters and regulatory issues. After joining Husch Blackwell as a full associate, Brooke began to focus her practice primarily on pharmaceutical clients and pharmacy benefit managers.
Brooke is known for great attention to detail that helps her stay on top of the tiny changes to healthcare law that can upend a client’s entire business. However, what clients value most is Brooke’s gift for breaking down nuanced, complex areas of law so that they can readily understand how regulations apply to their organizations.
