Cayden focuses on corporate matters and transactions.
After obtaining an undergraduate degree in business, Cayden worked closely with her company’s in-house legal team to ensure business decisions were in compliance with the law. This experience gave Cayden a desire to attend law school so she could assist others in solving their complex legal and business problems and lead her to a focus in corporate, mergers and acquisitions, and securities law.
Cayden’s passion for transactional law was evident during law school, where participation in transactional law competitions provided a realistic look into an attorney’s responsibilities during acquisitions. A judicial internship also highlighted the importance of clear and precise drafting to avoid ambiguity and prevent future litigation.
As a summer associate at Husch Blackwell, Cayden worked on various transactional matters, including drafting purchase agreement schedules, performing due diligence, and assisting in drafting articles of incorporation for new LLCs. This role emphasized the importance of critical thinking to provide the best value to clients.
