Overview

After two years assisting and regulating various industries, Daniel applies his prior experience as a wastewater pretreatment coordinator to assisting clients with environmental issues.

Daniel enjoys working with various entities to help them understand how to comply with environmental regulations and statutes. In addition, he represents clients in court or in front of various agencies when necessary. In particular, Daniel has experience with permitting, reporting, inspecting and working with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

His prior work as the pretreatment coordinator at a wastewater treatment plant in Sauget, Illinois, introduced him to the world of industrial compliance, pretreatment systems and remediation projects. In this role, Daniel oversaw the pretreatment program for the plant, reviewed pretreatment ordinances to ensure effectiveness, developed comments for the EPA’s Dental Amalgam Rules and attended trainings on hazardous waste regulations.

Outside the Office

Daniel stays active, whether cycling, hiking, running or participating on mission trips.

Daniel cycles and hikes in the St. Louis area and Madison County, Illinois, and is training to run a half-marathon. He also participates in Tough Mudders, a 10- to 12-mile obstacle course, and recently completed his fifth Tough Mudder competition.

Additionally, Daniel enjoys mission trips to Central America and South America. Most recently, he participated in a mission trip to Colombia sponsored by a Christian radio station and a mission trip to Honduras with Engineers Without Borders.
