With a passion for digging deep into legal arguments and theory, Daniel represents clients in complex commercial litigation matters.
As an undergraduate, Daniel was a philosophy student who loved considering deep questions. He knew he wanted a career where he would continue to wrestle with complicated matters, yet he also wanted to work in a field where he could have an immediate, practical impact on others. The law was a perfect fit, and he was drawn to litigation from the beginning, externing as a law student with both the Georgia Superior Court and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
Since joining the firm in 2022, Daniel has represented clients in a variety of commercial matters. His experience includes frequent work with OSHA and MSHA litigation, assisting with the drafting of written discovery, post-hearing briefs, and settlement positions, and he regularly represents a variety of businesses, handling case assessments and drafting dispositive motions for general liability litigation. Daniel has also assisted alcohol and beverage clients with contract and licensing disputes.
Known for his critical thinking and ability to keep the wider picture in mind, Daniel is enthusiastic about digging deep into legal arguments and sees it as the best way to reach a solution. During his judicial externships, he observed the differing legal strategies that best served various types of litigation and learned how to assemble a strategy that works for each client. Daniel sees his role as not merely to litigate, but to work alongside clients, ensuring that they understand the legal issues and their options…and to ensure that he understands their business needs and goals.
