With a passion for digging deep into legal arguments and theory, Daniel represents clients in complex commercial litigation matters.

As an undergraduate, Daniel was a philosophy student who loved considering deep questions. He knew he wanted a career where he would continue to wrestle with complicated matters, yet he also wanted to work in a field where he could have an immediate, practical impact on others. The law was a perfect fit.

Daniel was drawn to litigation from the beginning. During his law school years, he externed with both the Georgia Superior Court and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. In addition to honing his legal research and writing skills, the experiences gave him the opportunity to work directly with state and federal judges on legal reasoning. Daniel’s time with the First Amendment Clinic at his law school also showed him the impact of pouring time, study and resources into a case.

Today, Daniel represents clients in a variety of commercial matters, often with a focus on the agricultural sector. He’s enthusiastic about digging deep into legal arguments and sees it as the best way to reach a solution. During his judicial externships, Daniel observed the differing legal strategies that best served various types of litigation and learned how to assemble a strategy that works for each client. He sees his role as not merely to litigate, but to work alongside clients, ensuring that they understand the legal issues and their options…and to ensure that he understands their business needs and goals.

Daniel’s number one hobby is jiu jitsu—it’s a great way to exercise, learn a new skill and meet cool people all at the same time.

He’s also a movie buff who’s usually at the theatre at least once a week. Daniel’s favorites tend to be foreign films, but he enjoys just about any movie.
