Ellie focuses on immigration law, blending preventative counsel with litigation.
Ellie’s interest in a legal career was sparked during a college course that combined classics and law, emphasizing the human experience and societal structures. The class inspired a great love for people and society, and Ellie saw law school as the next step to merge her love for people with a practical application of her classical education.
Ellie’s passion for immigration law also stems from her studies, thanks to language and international law courses and to her involvement in the Religious Liberty Clinic at Notre Dame. In her clinical work, Ellie engaged with international law and immigration cases, often using her Spanish language skills to connect with people from various backgrounds. She also had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience as a summer associate at Husch Blackwell, where she contributed to immigration, real estate, and commercial litigation projects. Ellie particularly enjoyed working on asylum cases and other immigration matters.
