Overview

Gretchen assists clients with estate planning.

Drawn to law school by her passion for problem-solving, researching, and writing, Gretchen wanted a career that combined working with people and critical thinking. Her interest in estate planning was solidified during her time working with the Atlanta Legal Aid Society’s Senior Citizen Law Project. She enjoyed connecting with clients and helping them solve their problems. Additionally, her experience with the North Georgia Low Income Taxpayer Clinic allowed her to handle complex cases that required intensive research. As a member of Emory Law School's Supreme Court Advocacy Program, she gained valuable insights into collaborative leadership and niche legal issues.

During her time as a summer associate at Husch Blackwell, Gretchen learned to analyze financial information to recommend estate distribution options. She worked on trust disbursement, gaining familiarity with Tennessee-specific trust and estate laws.

Gretchen is known as an excellent listener who is dedicated to solving problems and interested in clients’ lives.
