Overview

Hansen advises clients on Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation matters.

Motivated by a desire to continue his career of service after seven years in the military, Hansen chose to pursue law. His time in the Army instilled in him a deep appreciation for the rule of law and its impact on society, and his military leadership roles honed his adaptability, self-discipline, and detail-oriented nature.

Prior to law school, Hansen also worked in accounting, an experience that introduced him to the rules and regulations that would later become so central in his legal career. As a law student, he pursued a tax emphasis certificate and was fascinated by the intricacies of the tax code and its widespread impact on society. He also served as an executive member of the Transactional Drafting team, mentoring lowerclassmen and organizing internal competitions.

Hansen’s interest in the employee benefits practice area was sparked by both his background in accounting and a high school financial literacy class that had emphasized the importance of investing. He is passionate about helping clients create the programs that will secure employees’ retirement futures.

Hansen is known for his strong work ethic, diligence, and honesty. He is committed to always having the best interests of clients in mind, making him a valuable addition to any team.

Most of all, Hansen values time with his wife and young daughter, Emerson. The family particularly enjoys exploring Colorado mountain towns and playing with their rescue dog, Sadie Mae.
