Outside the Office

Katie absolutely adores reading and usually gets through a book a week. She sees books as an opportunity to enter an entirely different world.

Katie also enjoys traveling and celebrated her bar exam with a month-long trip across Europe, visiting Italy, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, France, Scotland and England. The trip was one of the best experiences of her life, and Katie notes that Scotland—where she got engaged—was especially beautiful.

Community Leadership

Katie has long served as a blood donor to her local community blood bank, donating regularly since age 17. She’s currently a member of the “Three Gallons Club” and is steadily working toward her next total of four gallons donated.
